Marianne Wolf-Astrauskas, two-term president of the Illinois Woman’s Press Association, executive board secretary of NFPW, and a longtime alumni regional board member for her alma mater, Illinois Wesleyan University. (MORE)		Beth Dugan captured seven first-place, six second-place and two third-place awards in the 2013 Mate E. Palmer Communications Contest, as well as three Honorable Mentions. WOW!! What a weekend it was!
We all know that a book fair in Chicago generates excitement, but the Printers Row Lit Fest really pegged the excitement scale. The weather was perfect, the setting was perfect and the Chicago booklovers came out in droves. (MORE)

The Illinois Woman's Press Association, IWPA (since 1885) is an organization of communications professionals whose objective is to maintain and improve the professional standards of members in mass communications in Illinois, to promote their interest, and to provide for the sharing of ideas and information. Having celebrated 125 years in 2010, IWPA continues to hold a firm place in the history of women communicators in Illinois. Today, IWPA embraces members of all gender and generations.
