The National Federation of Press Women’s High School Communications Contest results are in, and Illinois students did exceptionally well!

Every First Place winner in the IWPA’s High School Communications Contest went on to the NFPW contest to compete with winners in other states and regions across the country.

The results are a testament to the incredible work that Illinois students, as well as faculty, are putting into the current world of communications.

Illinois students got First Place nationally in five categories: Editorial, Opinion, Sports Story, Video Sports Story, and Yearbook Photo. Each First Place winner in the NFPW competition will receive a $100 from the NFPW, to be divided evenly among multiple winners when needed.

Congratulations to all who participated!!
