IWPA members had quite the showing in the 2017 National Federation of Press Women’s annual Communications Contest! We are very proud of our successful community. All winners are invited accept their awards at the 2017 NFPW Communications Conference in Birmingham, Alabama.
Lolita Ditzler, who won first place for her essay Life with Linda, stated she was “elated” upon receiving the news. “The judges comments were an ego boost,” according to Ditzler. Becky Sarwate also won first place in the Reviews category, an honor to which she referred to as “creative affirmation for doing what you love!” Like Sarwate, member Terrie Albano was also “honored” and grateful for the recognition.
IWPA is proud of all members who entered the NFPW Contest. We look forward to celebrating more great work next year!
